• First, the iPod Touch has borrowed technology from the iPhone 4, including Retina Display, FaceTime and HD recording.

• As for the Nano, this is the first time the Nano has undergone a rather major component change the little square is now even smaller, and also features a multi-touch screen!

• Last but not least, the Shuffle has finally addressed the age-long complain about users not being able to identify what songs they are listening to with VoiceOver technology. This new feature will not only announce your tune, but it will also tell you how much battery you have left.

Technology didn’t seem to harmonise with art so well in the past, but recently, when you give people access to technology and internet, some of the most creative and inconceivable projects happen. Sure, we knew that the iPad is know for its countless applications, and there is an app for everything including piano, but we didn’t know that it could be orchestrated on a symphony level. Here comes The iPad Orchestra, a team of four performers, each representing an instrument, cello, flute, violin and clarinet. The song “Sweet Dream” composed by Ilya Plavunov was performed live in August, and the sonic result is comparable to their predecessors. The countdown on the SILLY BAPE THING website now reads 0 day  17 Hour and 31mins counting. It is nearly time for the SILLY BAPE THING project to be revealed and to start off the product line up are the two t-shirts that have jumped the gun and will be released in the coming September month, a month earlier than the scheduled October drop. The 2 Generals and General Polygon t-shirts which take inspiration from archived graphics from the early days of BAPE. These graphics have been re-appropriated for the SILLY BAPE THING project and the 2 Generals graphics sees one of the Ape Generals wearing similar frames as TK, the owner of SILLY THING.
